A delightful cafe in a nice rural setting by the fishing lakes. Cakes are wonderful and the Chilli was the best I’ve tasted from any establishment. I was told the homemade quiche was also amazing by my wife. Will definitely be back when the weather is nice and can take in the views.

After fishing the complex many times I thought I'd visit for some breakfast today .the service was great .the food was cooked perfect can't think of a single fault. lovely calming place to go with the friendly staff.will be back again

Lovely cafe, very friendly and good service. Menu includes a range of meals and there was a variety of cakes to choose from. Toilets available. Very clean and spacious cafe, great atmosphere.

Thought I'd see what all the fuss was about! So stopped off on my cycle ride. The bacon and egg sandwich was as good as I can ever remember and the staff were so friendly. They even made sure my bacon was extra crispy!!! A real find and will be heading back very soon.

This is the 2nd time now in a few weeks me and my husband have visited the cake shack 1st time had cake and coffee absolutely delicious and such lovely staff great service. Been back today had a full English breakfast absolutely delicious. Great staff and brilliant service again. Will be back again soon.

Visited with my family for lunch and was very impressed. Lovely coffee and polite friendly staff in a great location. We had home made chicken pie, quiche and an all day breakfast. They also have a fantastic selection of cake which are amazing and we had more to take away! (Carrot cake is the best I've ever had) Excellent find and highly recommend, we will be visiting again very soon. Thank u

What a gem of a place to find! The food here is just amazing! And the cakes are on another level. Taken our family now 3 times and will continue to visit. My youngest is a fussy eater but clears her plate. Prices are really good too. Love the cleanliness of the whole place, massive bonus. New forever returning customers of 6 here. I have been three times now and on each occasion I have have a friendly welcome. It is a busy place with outside seating for warmer weather. The food is freshly prepared and mine was really tasty. All in all a very pleasent experience. I recommend the full English breakfast followed with cake to take home. I am very pleased to support a small upcoming local business, keep up the good work to all at The Cake Shack.

Went for my mums birthday and had afternoon tea. Gorgeous food and a relaxed atmosphere. 10/10 Plus log burner and toys for the kids. Dog friendly too! Really lovely place ❤️

Superb experience, delicious lunch, very relaxing environment and helpful staff. My dog enjoyed herself too. Quite a range of vegetarian and vegan options. Will be going again.
