Not the best dog field! Does the job but there is left over rolled up fencing and containers ect. Dog water station is super dirty and broken. Needs some TLC.

Super close to the M6, there was leftover fencing left on the ground, no lock on the gate, advertised as having toys on site, none were found, fencing wasn’t consistent only stayed 10 minutes

Visited and already booked in again! I currently have my in laws doggos as well as my own 2 and this has been a god send! The only thing that could improve this for me would be if it was floodlit (I understand that it can’t be) yes it’s muddy, it’s winter where isn’t muddy? A little mud never hurt anyone! Would 1000% use again and recommend to others!

We have recently started using this freedom field. It's an absolute gem, fully enclosed so no worries about my dog getting out, he loves being off his lead and having no collar either, it's lovely to watch him doing his own thing. Shelter for when it rains and a picnic bench for the better days. Highly recommend. Its perfect.

Good space for dogs to play, however that’s where the good things end. Poorly maintained, grass allowed to grow quite tall before being mowed, lots of other dog poop that has not been picked up. Last time I went, the hut looked like it had been vandalised. No toys for dogs to play with, as advertised. Price now gone up. I used to take my dogs 1-3 times a week. Unfortunately I will not be going again until it is tidied up, with dog toys available.

I struggle to walk my dog as he's very reactive to other dogs, what a dream this little place is! 😊 It's easy to find, has plenty of room, is a secure space, has a sheltered area for rainy days and a picnic bench for sunny days. I feel confident to run around with my dog off leash here which is something I never thought I'd say. We'll be back! 🏃‍♀️🐕‍

Great dog park, lots of space to run, a few little obstacles for the agility dogs. The only downside is the din from the motorway, but it didn't bother the dogs anyway. Restrooms: Unfortunately there are no toilets here, but it isn't that far from town. Dog-friendliness: Ideal for dogs...its a dog park. It does have a shaded dog drinking area, but bring your own water. Picnic area: There is a table provided that would suit a small family picnic.

I have used this field a few times and will continue to do so. There is however some feedback that I want to leave so that the owners have the opportunity to address. The reason that I use the field is because my rescue dog has very little recall. He can also be very 'vocal' to a point of aggression when he sees other animals. The field itself is really good. Lots of space for him to have a good run and the carpark is fine. I have seen some comments on the noise from the M6 - this doesn't bother me as my dog has really good hearing and chooses to ignore me anyway! Also, this is impossible for the owners to address. I do however have a couple of concerns. One I have managed to address myself the other is not as easy. 1 - my dog is medium size and on the first visit nearly got through the mesh. Had he have not been wearing a harness he would have escaped. To combat this, I purchased a blow-up collar from the pet store, and I am now happy that there will be no way for his escape. The holes in the mesh are quite large and an escape artist would have a good chance of getting through. 2 - there are horses in the field immediately next door. During the visits my dog will spend time barking at the horses. Not a major issue as they were on previous visits playing and winding him up on purpose. My dog enjoyed this, and all parties spent ten minutes teasing each other then went back to their own thing. During the last visit all did not go as well. Again, he was barking at the horses. One of them reared to the fence and tried to kick him. Even though my dog can't get through (due to blow-up collar) he can still get his head through. Luckily, I was able to pull him back but in doing so I put myself at risk. I had to bend down to pull the dog back and had the horse been any closer I would have been kicked. The horses we quite aggressive during this visit to a point that they were fighting between themselves. The lighter colour of the two had hoof marks on his back so it was happening before I arrived. It may be a solution to put another row of fencing between the dog field and the field used by the horses. This will then prevent any contact which could result in injury. As I said before I do plan to continue to use the field. However, for safety I will make sure that I am not alone so that the situation can be managed better.

Disappointed with our visit today , I knew that it had only recently opened but I expected a lot better experience, the grounds in parts had a lot of stones, small pieces of timber as shown in photos , rolled up wire fencing due to this I spent most of my time taking these out on my dogs mouth and keeping them away from the role of fencing as they could get is paws stuck Inside . Very limited dog toys , don’t forget to bring your poo bags also as not supplied in case you’d forgotten to bring your own , the only good points are that it get them used to traffic noise with the motorway being close and the two horses close by , booking your slot was easy also . But I’ll will be sticking to my usual place

Taking the other comments into account - yes this is a new field, yes there was some stones and hay in the field and the grass needs time to grow - that said, we were thrilled to see another field within 2 miles of our house, our dogs loved it and had lots of fun, there was a bin filled with toys, exercise equipment and water was available in the bowls but we’d read the description and brought water with us as well and used it to fill up the second bowl. We really enjoyed our trip there, really happy with the facilities and will be booking again. The car park isn’t secured however the road is so quiet this wasn’t an issue for us. The condition of the road and car park is normal for any one lane country road and wasn’t an issue for us at all. There was some noise from the M6 but that didn’t bother us or the dogs at all. Really hope this does well, it’s so good to have another dog field in the area to use.
