NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY. This chain are renowned for not offering child services- no menu, no high chairs, no baby change facilities. Staff make you feel quite uncomfortable when visiting with a child when there are adults swearing and shouting nearby!

Lovely place, great friendly staff. Clean and home like feeling in all the snugs around the pub.
I especially love the Dad's Army themed gents toilets! Vera Lynn playing in background. The food is well cooked, no issues.

Nice place to visit. It's a shame you can not book tables, so we had to wait a while, but that's ok if you're not driving. They have a good variety of rums you can try out. Staff are friendly enough some more than others. Food is good a bit pricey for what you get. It's worth going.

A little hidden gem of a place. Based on the Dad's Army character, Captain Mainwaring, the place had memorabilia and murals of the cast of the TV show on the walls. The food was different and very good, and you'd better like large helpings!! There are many cosy rooms in which to eat and drink, connected by corridors and tight, winding stairs. The whole place is steeped with character. The pub itself is set in a quaint country area, surrounded by villages, woodland, streams and little bridges.
